I should be studying but this was just too funny. Too bad we don't have stuff like this in American t.v. program.

Another addition

Tonight we bought a car. Jeff's Nissan had officially bitten the dust. Thus, after several weeks of internet research and quality time with car salesman we have taken the leap and are proud owners of a Ford Escape. We'll see how it goes!
Thankfully, Jeff did most of the shopping but let me share with you a bit about the car salesmen we had the opportunity to share time with.
1. Ben. Ben's favorite saying was "I'm not like those other salesman, I'm honest". He smelled bad and in my pregnant state almost made me puke.
2. Tommy. A nice man but a bit rude. Convinced that every car was a great deal and not going to move on his prices.
3. Lady (not her name - but a female car salesman). Didn't give us the time of day, I think she was sure we weren't serious about buying. She looked like a cat.
4. John. A devout Christian who never stopped talking...about anything...everything...bla bla bla.
It's over...thank goodness. Hopefully for several years!
Getting Ready...

I've reached the third trimester marker...28 weeks down...12 more potentially to go...I guess it's official we are going to have a baby.
This weekend we began to take steps to prepare...
We set up our crib
We bought a car seat
We assembled a high chair
We assembled the baby bouncer
We bought unscented laundry detergent
It's nice to have a few things done...although there is much more to go.
The season of preparation begins!

Computer as Yesteryears Magic Ball?

The holiday's were wonderful, relaxing, and a blessing to us! However, January has blown in with gusto! This month is a big one in my academic career. I am furiously preparing for my clinical competency exams - my portfolio is due tomorrow - my exam is January 31st.
Here's the thing about this exam. I have to pass. If I fail, I have the opportunity (insert sarcasm here) to stay in school an additional year. So, there is a bit of additional stress added to the process of taking and preparing for the exam.
After the exams, granted if I pass, I am given permission to rank for internship. This process is a bit strange but basically I send my "list" to a computer in Canada, sites send their lists to the same computer, it apprently then whirls around for a few weeks and spits out matches. Ideally, I match somewhere. I am then notified of this match on February 26th. This then tells me my future.
So, in the end, I think that this computer is like a a modern day magic ball that tells our future. Kinda scary to think. So, in the end, prayers are gladly accepted that the exams go well.
